La Nuit De L’Homme is a cult fragrance from the Yves Saint-Laurent house. He was born in 2009 following L’Homme. It was then a question of displaying the most sensual and mysterious part of masculinity. Building on its success, this perfume continues to reinvent itself, always plunging us into the heart of the dark night in a supercharged atmosphere. This time, the Yves Saint-Laurent house has chosen to emphasize the magnetism of man, delivering us a juice more captivating than ever: La Nuit De L’Homme Eau Electrique. So, let’s see in more detail how this translates on the olfactory level.
Yves Saint-Laurent brings together the creativity of three perfumers
The advantage of acquiring a reputation similar to that of Yves Saint-Laurent is that it is much easier to call on talented perfumers to collaborate on a creation project… Or , the Yves Saint-Laurent house has chosen to bring together the creativity of three different designers to develop its latest work. The Night Of The Electric Water Manis therefore signed by the talented Juliette Karagueuzoglou, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo. To give you the presentation, know that Juliette Karagueuzoglou is a designer from the prestigious ISIPCA perfume school in Versailles. She says she was immediately won over by this project. In general, she says she particularly enjoys working on revisits of great classics. Dominique Ropion, meanwhile, is one of the greatest perfumers of our time. His knowledge in terms of raw materials is almost limitless. From then on, we can no longer count the number of best-sellers signed by this great artist. Finally, Anne Flipo is a determined person who perceives each new project as a real challenge. Usually, it prefers to move away from the standards and turn to more daring juices. It is therefore the combination of these three talents that we find in the composition of La Nuit De L’Homme Eau Electrique.
The energizing freshness of La Nuit De L’Homme Eau Electrique
So, what could these three renowned designers have done? In fact, the latter were based on a fougère accord, that is to say one of the most classic scents in men’s perfumery. Fortunately, however, they did not just stop there… They took the main scents of the fern and totally transformed and modernized them. Thus, La Nuit De L’Homme Eau Electrique arrives where we least expect it. Its heart takes on aromatic flavors well known in men’s perfumes such as those of lavender or sage. Geranium, meanwhile, brings here a somewhat spicy and floral elegance. Likewise, the Mediterranean side of this fragrance is further enhanced by the luminous and solar presence of orange blossom. A powerful contrast then opposes the top notes of La Nuit De L’Homme Eau Electrique and its wake. Indeed, its start is particularly fresh and full of citrus fruits. It combines lemon, tangerine and green apple. On the other hand, its background is much darker and more structured. This nobility brings together the masculinity of cedar, patchouli, vetiver and sandalwood. Finally, vanilla and tonka bean come together gently.
